ABOUT KU UNPLUGGED

My name is Kaitlyn Unland and this is my blog- KU Unplugged. Growing up I had always had a passion for writing. Writing songs, novels, just about anything that involves putting pen to paper. Going through high school and the beginning of my college experience, I lost myself for awhile, and while losing myself, I also lost my passion for writing. I just recently graduated with my undergrad and will be starting my graduate program shortly. I have moved to a new city and got a new job. I am growing and evolving each and everyday. There is so much to learn and everyone has so much to give in so many different ways.

In the world that we live in today, it is so easy to be pulled down, pushed backwards, and surrounded by negativity. Society constantly tries to tell us who we are, how we don't matter, or that we're not enough. But I believe the opposite to be true.

I believe that we are allowed to grow, to change, to better ourselves, and be not only who we want to be, but also who God wants us to be.

I believe one of my callings in live is to help uplift others, radiate positivity, and empower others to be their best self. One of the best ways I know how to do this is through sharing my own experiences and my own growth through my writing. I hope to use this blog to encourage a healthy lifestyle and personal growth!
